FLOCK SAFETY - License Plate Security Cameras

The board is evaluating measures to enhance safety and security in the neighborhood. As recommended by homeowners, the board is evaluating a system that would read vehicle license plates using security cameras. If adopted, cameras would be installed at the entrances and exits of the neighborhood.

A representative from Flock Safety made a presentation to the board at the last meeting. The details of that presentation are in the PowerPoint file that was attached to the email communication.

Would you be in favor of the community installing security cameras at the entrances of the community to help deter crime? These cameras would be part of the FLOCK safety system that reads license plates of vehicles entering or exiting the community. The approximate cost would be roughly $75 a home per year.
